I really hope the economy and item pricing get reworked at some point.
At the moment, it feels like the server heavily rewards cloth farming rather than actually engaging with the PvE content. I’m not a huge PvE player myself, but I gave the server a proper try, and honestly, getting a rare item didn’t feel particularly rewarding.
When players can have 50+ planters and generate hundreds of millions in value by the second day of a wipe, it takes away a lot of the excitement and sense of progression from finding rare items through PvE.
Another thing I think is worth looking into is the Oil Rig scientist loot. They can drop some of the best-in-slot gear, while the encounter itself can be made extremely easy with something as simple as a turret. This makes getting high-end gear feel a bit too accessible for the amount of effort involved.
I think the server has a lot of potential, and I’ll definitely be checking out V2 when it comes around. Hopefully, the economy and PvE progression get some balancing so that rare loot actually feels valuable and rewarding to obtain.
A bit selfish of me but, just wondering if my Lifetime Subscription is active on Worlds 2.0. Never mind if not, but does that mean original Worlds is still playable ?
Started in the last XP wipe and after this wipe, I'm kind of excited to play it with a none inflated economy. I think I did everything the server offers in the last 10-ish days (at least mechanic related) and love to experience a more slowed down / grindy experience ^^
I am most excited for the /w menu and the worlds being able to be seperate maps. Ground level raids with npc's and being able to use siege equipment is going to be super fun early game.
Roaming NPC's? I have misses something if that is a thing in v2. NPC back in raids, yes, but? Can the team clarify @PapaJay 's claim/statement here?
Im looking forward to a new XP wipe for the most.. starting all over, doing the grind, and with a new economy. Exited to see how it all works out. And hoping not to be waiting too long on wipeday to start. The last days have been slow enough!
how can we look forward to anything its all been kept a secret for the most part. no testing means most likely we are going to have a repeat of the v1.0 chaos LOL
