Raidable Bases — Back on Solid Ground
With V2, we’ve been able to bring Raidable Bases back down to earth.
The result is a raiding experience that feels less restricted, more flexible, and much closer to how we’ve always wanted it to play. We’ve restored key features, opened up more ways to attack, and removed some of the limitations that used to slow things down.
NPCs Are Back
Raidable Bases are once again defended by NPCs.
Walls and traps won’t be the only things standing between you and the loot anymore, adding another layer of danger to every raid.
Come prepared.
Building Is Back
You can now build during Raidable Bases again.
Throw down cover, create new angles, gain height, or adapt your approach on the fly. Being able to build gives you much more freedom in how you tackle each base.
Bring Out the Siege Weapons
Siege raiding is now enabled for Raidable Bases.
That means the Catapult, Battering Ram, Siege Tower, and Mortar are all back on the menu.
Roll up with a battering ram and take the direct approach. Use a siege tower to gain the high ground. Rain destruction from a distance with a catapult or mortar.
Raidable Bases are no longer limited to one style of attack — choose your tools, make a plan, and crack them open your way.
Cooldowns Are Gone
And this is a big one.
Raidable Base cooldowns have been completely removed.
Got the resources? Want another raid?
Go for it.
No waiting around for a timer. No arbitrary downtime between purchases. If you want to raid again, you can get straight back into the action.
V2 has allowed us to strip away many of the restrictions surrounding Raidable Bases and put the focus back where it belongs:
Plan the raid. Break the base. Take the loot.
NPCs are back.
Building is back.
Siege weapons are in.
Cooldowns are gone.
