Oil rig patrol boats and turrets

People setup turrets with hoppers around oil rig to farm the patrol boats automatically zero game play all end game items no effort other players can loot some of the stuff hoppers miss but if someone goes ham enough with hoppers you can do anything. I'm pretty sure they setup the hoppers to only snag the deep sea loot so no one knows it works like this but i cant prove it tbh. Attached is a list of items the patrol boats and scientists drop every half hour they may even drop deap sea loot but i havent cared to abuse it like others. h the hoppers due to range etc. I think the loot pool may be shared with deep sea and thats why its so bad... I only farmed it a little bit before someone turreted it off and put down a ton of hoppers. I would say an official rule against turrets or just hoppers near rig would solve this and giving warnings to people doing this. Bleach - 10-20 per patrol Batteries -1 to 2 per patrol Rockets - 60-80 per scientist c4 40-60 per scientist Impact gear - atleast 1 per day maybe even more Huff and puff - same as impact

Yes the boats count as deep sea boats so they drop leviathan gloves / boots / pants / hoodie. I also agree that turrets probably should not be allowed to be placed in range of them. I have set them up personally on many wipes for the free gear and RP as a if you can not beat them join them arguement, but I would vote for that not happening in the future.

it clearly says to not exploit bugs and stuff isnt that considered an exploit i dont think it should be aloud or able to do it so make it where u cant by doin the radius limit like beds and bags close to oil

There is a radius around oil and building / placing turrets on water foundations is allowed* / not a bug...

I put in a ticket on this last wipe. I was told they are aware, and are allowing it as long as the don't fully encircle the entire monument.

the boats only spawn on one spot so thats kind of pointless ... it basically ruins the game I can't see paying for vip if you have to rush to claim the exact spot the boat spawns and then monopolize it 200-300m rp minimum per day in gear thats absurd
